Is it possible to see beyond the field of perception and gaze? Looking to give form to imaginary people who might live inside the confinements of a wall, I first opened it up. Frustrated to find air ducts of galvanised steel, I then decided to make good use of them. Considering that horizontality is our natural field of vision, I next chose to paint the figures vertically with a playful intention to change the way we look at a tableau while adding a touch of mystery.
