I see myself as an adventurer without a compass who goes into a living area or a natural environment confident that immersing myself on site will inevitably make something pop up. This is the very stimulating first step of my artistic process. I continue to follow Plato’s advice to look directly at things in Nature. My job is to follow my intuition and represent what may have left a mark on me but I also love to work physically: I often build my own-bidimensional and three-dimensional frames with hand tools.
