Since it doesn’t cross my mind that artwork may serve only as a commodity, the site specific approach is like opening up to a new art form every time. As Kundera would say, life does not let you have rehearsals since existing is a one-shot thing. My interests are fuelled by a desire to observe things of the world as they present themselves in Nature (even though they are only appearances). The artist is a medium and for my part I take on the role of a voyeur, examining my surroundings while listening to my underlying desires and expecting a sudden idea that has to be imperatively realized.
